MassMu Offers 'Drawing Cartoon Characters With Feeling'

Anyone ages 12 and older is invited to register for the Massillon Museum’s “Drawing Cartoon Characters with Feeling” class, which will be led by artist Douglas Laubacher on Sunday, September 10, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.  

To register, visit MassMu.org/Tickets or call 330-833-4061. The fee, $15 ($10 for MassMu member) per person, includes all supplies.  

Laubacher is a cartoonist and art educator from Northeast Ohio. His comic strip, Unbound, can be read in the Tuscarawas County Bargain Hunter. A member of the National Cartoonist Society, he teaches cartooning in art centers and libraries throughout the region. 

The Massillon Museum receives operating support from the Ohio Arts Council, ArtsinStark, and the citizens of Massillon. This workshop is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. 

The Massillon Museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way East (Ohio Route 172) in downtown Massillon. A visit to the Massillon Museum is always free and everyone is welcome.
