Boston, MA - As the weekend unfolded, the Iranian government launched a barrage of over 300 drones and missiles towards Israel. Simultaneously, the terrorist group Hamas, holding Israeli and US citizens captive, adamantly rejects any peace talks or negotiation, insisting solely on Israel’s destruction. In solidarity with our allies in Israel, we stand with their inherent right to self-defense under all circumstances.

Hamas holds the key to ending the loss of thousands of lives by releasing the Israeli hostages, yet they persist in refusal, only seeking one outcome: the destruction of Israel. Now that Iran has escalated this war, it is more important than ever that leaders across the Commonwealth and the nation unite to unequivocally stand in solidarity with Israel, which is confronting an existential threat.”
