Do you love visiting the horses at UConn? Helen Scanlon loves them so much she wrote a book about them! Do you like to draw horses? Helen is an equine artist and author whose love of horses infuses both her artwork and her books. At this drawing demo/talk Helen will demonstrate her own drawing process, talk about the history of the Morgan horses at UConn, and introduce some of her books, including her latest book Lessons with Magic. And we’ll supply paper and pencils so you can practice drawing horses using tips from Helen!  Program will be in the Buchanan Auditorium July 28, 3-4 PM.
