Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation provides funding for this year’s summer Camp Explorations!

The U-M Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce that the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation has granted $5,000 for the museum’s 2023 summer Camp Explorations program. The grant will provide camp scholarships for Washtenaw County campers in need of financial help, support for camp programming, and funding for hiring and training camp staff.

Demand for in-person camp remains high and the museum's goal is to accommodate as many campers as possible. Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation’s generosity makes a big difference in our ability to provide a high-quality, fully staffed summer camp program.

We are grateful for all that the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor Foundation does for the Ann Arbor community and for their continued support of the museum. We couldn’t do what we do without their support!

Camp Explorations 2023 Update

Camp Explorations is more than half way through! Campers have already gone on an out-of-this-world adventure to explore other planets, participated in a fossil dig, uncovered ancient civilizations, and solved engineering challenges.

Check our website in February 2024 for information on next summer's Camp Explorations!
