Class Catalog

KAC Gallery hosts three notable and award-winning local comic artists and illustrators in support programming for the current exhibition, Re-Animators: A New Examination of Historic Heroic Figures, showing through October 28. Artist talks are free and open to the public. Work by some artists are for sale and partial proceeds go toward supporting the arts center. The first is 6-7PM on October 13 by Colleen FrakesAnyone Can Make Comics, followed by an activity where attendees make their own comic! Free & open to the public.

Calling all makers, creators, artists! We're on the lookout for talented sculptors, painters, illustrators, ceramists/potters, jewelers, glassworkers, fiber artists, and paper artists/card-makers to join us for the 2023 Holiday Art Market November 17-26, 2023. Submit your application with samples of your work for consideration.

Applications close on October 14th. Remember to include 5 high-resolution images (.jpeg or .png format) showcasing your fantastic work.

Selected makers will be notified via email on October 21st. Makers receive a generous 60% commission on items sold, with the remaining 40% supporting KAC's mission to nurture Kirkland's vibrant arts community. For information, visit our website or email [email protected].

Insights into Printmaking is a collection of works by Sandra (S.E.) Penney currently on display in the Kirkland Library through December 12, 2023. Sandra is an accomplished printmaker and teaches a variety of printmaking classes at Kirkland Arts Center. View more of her work and contact her via:  www.sandrapenney.com.

Kirkland Arts Center is proud partner of the Kirkland Library and showcases work by emerging and established local artists at the library 3 times per year. For information about submitting work for consideration to be exhibited, please email [email protected].
