Kidzu Childrens Museum - Please Support Your Local Children's Museum With A Year End Gift

Arts and Entertainment

December 19, 2022

From: Kidzu Childrens Museum

In the past year, in partnership with the North Carolina School of Science and Math, we have introduced over 20 new robots and other interactive technologies into Kidzu’s Makery, facilitated Kaleidoscope Play & Learn, virtual, supported playgroups, continued our phased reopening, utilizing a robust health and safety plan, and piloted open-access, early childhood programming in our Outdoor Learning Garden and The Nest by partnering with Families & Communities Rising Early Head Start and WIC programs. We’ve done all this while continuing to build back from the effects of COVID 19. We continue to add capacity and programs but, in order to do so, we need your support. Our 2023 initiatives include:

Kidzu Camps available ALL YEAR LONG, including our NEW Explorer Day Camps
New robot and tech additions to our Makerspace
FREE Garden Parties and outdoor programming
Accessible programming and multi-lingual storytimes
Exhibit updates, including new innovative props and manipulatives
Our commitment to the well-being of children in our community and to provide learning resources for families has never been stronger.

Now more than ever - play matters.

Thank you for supporting Kidzu during this unprecedented time. We wish you and your loved ones continued health and a bright new year.

Sincerely,???????

Jamie DeMent Holcomb
Chief Executive Officer
