Register for a program

Check out our special storytimes for the month of February! We'll be reading stories about tons of cool themes with crafts and songs as well. Check our website for full listings. Registration required!

Here we go again! Our famous, Fairy Tale Mix-up is ready for another crazy and fun filled evening of kids joining in, telling and acting out some very silly fairy tales like “ Tell the Truth B.B. Wolf”, “ The Fairytale Cake” along with another Anansi Tale. Remember to bring your best jokes for our Famous Chicken Comedy Time. We’ll have some new silly riddles and tongue twisters to try out. Please join the Windsor Public Library Kidspace for this free program for children ages 4-9 years old from 6:30-7:30pm. Please register or call 860-285-1914.

The Windsor Public Library is starting a new program of “Math Games” for ages 6-11 years old. Have fun and be challenged with hands on interactive math questions and activities to prove your answers are right on! This program is from 4:00-5:00pm and is free. Registration is needed.

The Winsor Public Library Kidspace will be hosting a New Book Club at 5:00-6:00 pm for ages 7-10 years old. We will be discussing some favorite books such as graphic novels, Nutmeg winners and “I Survived” stories. Lots of discussion and activities are part of this special free book club. Please register.

Come hang out with us for snacks, video games, crafts, movies, and more for Tween Tuesdays. Drop in any time from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Ages 9 to 15 are welcome. No registration needed!

Monthly Maker Magic is here at the Windsor Public Library one Saturday a month starting March 11 for open ended maker play. We’ll bring out the maker cart for kids to explore their creativity with making. Ages 5 to 12. 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Free.

Come for a fun time full of rhythm, beat, group music making, and instrument explorations with Loomis Chaffee teen musicians. Come hear some great books filled with stories and poetry about music as well fun crafts at Books and Beats! Ages 4 and up. Please register! Saturday, March 25 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

March 7th @ 6:30 PM, if you participated in the Hogwarts Tri-Wizard Reading Tournament, then come join us for our Tournament Closing Ceremony! We'll be revealing the winning house of the Tri-Wizard Tournament and throwing a party in their honor. Don't forget to bring your ticket that you received at the beginning of this reading challenge!
