Books in Bloom

The Lifesaving Museum will be participating in the Hull Garden Club's "Books in Bloom". Experience a touch of Spring in January as members of the Garden Club and other community groups interpret books through floral design and fill the library with blooms. Designs will be on display during normal business hours. All are invited to a free evening reception, Friday, 1/20/23 from 5:30 - 8pm with music and refreshments.

Staircase Gallery to Feature Bob Beaulieu

Please join us as we showcase Scituate artist, Robert Beaulieu as January exhibitor in our Joshua's Staircase Gallery. Primarily a plein aire artist, Robert has combined his ability to capture detail, atmosphere and light with the disciplines he learned through his foundation of academic work as well as, what he calls, "Practice, Practice, Practice." Once again, stalwart photographer and HLM board member Sean Baggett will lead us out for another lens-based media, i.e., photo shoot to capture the setting of the moon over the city. Set your alarms for an early up, grab your cameras & tripods, and bundle up for another memorable adventure. This event is weather dependent so stay tuned for further details.

Rat Pack Casino Night

Mark your calendar for an evening of fun and games as our historic Lifesaving Museum is transformed into a Las Vegas Casino. This fundraising event will be filled with casino games, luscious appetizers along with a special signature cocktail. Stay tuned!

Richard Honan to be featured artist in our Staircase Gallery

Boston Harbor Winter Cruise

What a unique opportunity to learn about the wildlife that exists in our own backyard! Join us for a dazzling nature cruise among the islands and shorelines of Boston Harbor. The winter is a unique time of year to take in breathtaking scenery, observe a variety of winter birds and seals basking on rocky outcroppings. Stay tuned for more details.

42nd Annual Snow Row

The Hull Lifesaving Museum's signature rowing race, the Snow Row will be held on March 11, 2023 at the very tip of Hull's peninsula. With its one-of-a-kind LeMans-style start, the race covers a 3 3/4 mile triangular course starting and ending off the beach at our Windmill Point Boathouse.

Sea & Sky Juried Art Show

Opening Reception: Saturday March 25, 2023

Our 26th annual Sea & Sky Art Show celebrates the beauty of our coastal environment and the richness of the artistic community on the South Shore and beyond.

All media are welcome. Artists may submit three works of art for consideration in the juried exhibition. All work must be original, and not previously exhibited at HLM. No reproductions will be accepted. don't miss your opportunity to participate in this great late winter show!
