GROTON, Conn. — The Groton Public Library welcomes the public to stop in and view a display of miniature holiday trees that were beautifully decorated by the community. Visitors can place a vote for their favorite in the ballot box, located at the information desk.

This year, local families were invited to help deck the Library’s halls with this special edition “grab & go” craft. Forty-eight wire frame trees were sent home to be decorated with the hopes that they would be returned in time for the Town of Groton’s Holiday Kickoff on Saturday, December 3. From ribbons and ruffles to artfully folded origami, staff marveled at the creativity of each uniquely adorned tree.

The exhibition can be viewed during regular library hours through December 21. For more information about programs happening at the Groton Public Library this holiday season, call (860) 441-6750 or visit grotonpl.org.
