Celebrate the New Year in the Sweetest Way!

Hershey New Year’s Eve returns on December 31, 2022 for its 18th year with live bands, great food and drinks, and family-friendly activities.

Opening for this year’s event is local band Fully Stocked. The six-person cover band pumps out good energy and fun with rock and pop songs from the 1970s to today. Headlining this year’s show is Daddy-O and the Sax Maniax, an 11-piece, high-energy band from Northeastern PA featuring a mix of Motown, disco, R&B, Rock n’ Roll, and Top 40 music.

At midnight, Denny Logan and the HERSHEY’S Characters will lead us in a countdown to the Kiss Raise. Then, downtown revelers will enjoy an immersive display – even if it’s foggy.

(Bubble Wrap Stomps)

Celebrate the New Year throughout the day at The Hershey Story. Kids can make noise as they countdown to the new year with bubble wrap stomps.

8:30 - 9:00 pm: Dance Party and Final Bubble Wrap Stomp

Join the HERSHEY’s Characters for a dance party followed by the final countdown and bubble wrap stomp.

9:00 - 10:00 pm: Fully Stocked

Fully Stocked is a six-person cover band that pumps out good energy and fun with rock and pop songs from 1970s to today. 

Established in early 2020, Fully Stocked is a camaraderie of musicians brought together by drummer, Scott “Scooter” Evans.  Members are Scott Evans: drums, Josh Vecchio: electric bass/vocals, Justin Webb: electric guitar, Aaron Hoke: electric guitar/vocals, Melanie Walborn: keys/vocals, and Kristyn Beeman: vocals.

10:30 - 11:55 pm: Daddy-O and the Sax Maniax

Daddy-O and the Sax Maniax is an eleven-piece, high-energy band featuring three female vocalists, a three-piece horn/percussion/vocal section, and a five-piece rhythm section that includes percussion, bass, keyboards, and guitar. Daddy-O and the Sax Maniax offers a diverse mix of Motown, Disco, and ‘70’s retro hits, as well as R&B, Jazz, Swing, Rock n’ Roll and Top 40 music.

11:59 pm: Hershey's Kiss Raise

Count down to the New Year with Denny Logan and the HERSHEY’S Characters and watch the HERSHEY’S Kiss rise. At midnight, downtown revelers will enjoy an immersive display that we guarantee everyone will see – even if it’s foggy.
