Kidz Konnection Shoreline Theater Academy in collaboration with The Adam Stanton House & General Store Museum will host a special three night Halloween event called Haunted Spirits of Clinton Stroll on Thursday, October 12th, Friday, October 13th and Saturday, October 14th.  Three tours will be offered each night at 6 pm, 6:30 pm and 7 pm.  Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.  All proceeds will go towards the ongoing restoration of the Adam Stanton House and the historic Academy building home to Kidz Konnection.

The stroll will visit the grounds of the historic 18th century burial grounds where spirits of famous local characters will thrill you with stories of their past.  Hear true paranormal tales of historical events told by the spirits of the deceased….some frightening, some emotional and some entertaining.  Afterwards light refreshments will be served.

Tickets can be purchased on line at Kidzkonnectionct.org by credit card.  For those without internet access please reserve by calling or e-mailing the Adam Stanton House at 860-669-2132 or [email protected]  Specify in your message your full name, phone number for confirmation, what date, time slot and adult/children ticket amounts you want.  Tour tickets are limited so book early before the event is sold out.  Updates and additional information will be posted on Kidz Konnection and the Adam Stanton House websites especially in the event of inclement weather.

The event is outdoors and will require walking at night over unlevel ground.  The tour will start at the Adam Stanton House located at 63 East Main Street, Clinton and proceed to the Academy Building then thru the old burial grounds and end at the cemetery office for refreshments.  Wear comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight.

Kidz Konnection was founded in 2006 by NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate, Laura Attanasio as an inclusive place for students to build community, explore classic literature, and express their creativity after school. From humble beginnings of less than ten students performing one show every few months, Kidz Konnection is now the Shoreline’s best Arts Academy, offering a wide range of programs, classes, and productions for all ages.

The Adam Stanton House and General Store was built in 1791 by a wealthy, striving merchant-businessman whose entrepreneurial spirit and extraordinary taste can be seen in every aspect of this unique house museum. Filled with clothing, furnishings, documents, and store inventory all belonging to the original Stanton family, the house provides a glimpse into 18th and 19th century life in a privileged New England family home. In 1916, the house was left in trust by Adam Stanton's heirs to become a house museum. It has been open to the public ever since.  Adam Stanton House, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3).
