Fort Abraham Lincoln has etched its name among North Dakota's most haunted places, captivating the imaginations of paranormal enthusiasts and even leaving skeptics in awe. It's a realm where the past and the supernatural merge seamlessly.

The Birth of Haunted Fort: In 2002, we embraced the macabre side of Fort Lincoln and launched Haunted Fort. Blending history with horror, we transformed these historic buildings into a spine-chilling attraction, delving into the eerie and the terrifying.

Evolving Nightmares: Haunted Fort has grown beyond our wildest nightmares. We added a children's bash and expanded the main event to three weekends due to popular demand. Now, it's the largest event at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, drawing over 9,000 brave souls each October.

A Frightening Legacy: Every scream, every chilling encounter, and every pulse-pounding moment at Haunted Fort supports the efforts at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. Our leaves no longer mark the closing of the season; they signal the birth of nightmares.

Halloween Kids Bash.
When Haunted Fort is a little scary for some, there is always Haunted Fort's Halloween Kids Bash.
Fort Lincoln's Halloween Kids Bash, is a great afternoon of fun with, carnival type games for all to enjoy, candy prizes, and spooky tours of the Haunted Custer house from Custer's dead butler!!! Also join in on the fun of the Little Monsters Hike that begins at 2:00pm outside the Commissary.

Doors open at 1:00pm and event ends at 5:00pm. Entrance to the event ends at 4:30pm. $7.00 Vehicle entrance required for this event or a ND Parks Annual Pass parents or guardians no extra charge for attending the Kids Bash. Kids Bash individual ticket needed for children participating in the Kids Bash activities.
