During Harvest Festival Weekends Flamingo Gardens celebrates the arrival of fall in south Florida. Each Harvest Festival weekend will have a theme of its own and guests are encouraged to dress up in costume to fit the week’s theme. Each weekend will feature hayrides, pony rides, entertainment, fun activities, and food.

Guests may also enjoy viewing America’s Everglades: Through the Lens of Clyde Butcher which will be on display in the Gallery at Flamingo Gardens from October 1 – December 31, 2022. With his century-old camera, Clyde Butcher has been exploring and documenting the Everglades for decades. The result is a stunning collection of large-format black-and-white photographs that capture untouched parts of the nation’s largest subtropical wilderness. Delicate ecosystems, rare botanical specimens, and sweeping landscapes bring the wonder of this mysterious part of our country to light.

Harvest Festival Weekends Activities:

October 8 and 9, 2022: Cowboys and Cowgirls Weekend. Live music by Shadow Creek 1-3pm.

October 15 and 16, 2022: Sci-Fi Weekend. Music provided by Outrageous Productions DJs.

October 22 and 23, 2022: Pirates and Princesses Weekend. Music provided by DJ Digital Anarchy, live interactive Pirate Encampment with fun kids’ activities.

October 29 and 30, 2022: Halloween Weekend. Music provided by DJ Digital Anarchy and visit with some of Flamingo Gardens’ own not-too-spooky Animal Ambassadors.

- Each weekend will also feature Photo Opportunities, Hayrides, Pony Rides, Costume Contests and Candy Giveaways.
- Each weekend, Specialty Fall Foods, such as corn on the cob and giant, topped baked potatoes, will be available for purchase.
