Halloween Festival 2022

Arts and Entertainment

September 20, 2022

From: Halloween Festival

Apache Junction Parks and Recreation wants to make your night spook-tacular! We will be hosting our annual Halloween Festival. Entry into this event is free to the community.

We are bringing back our popular Trunk or Treat, sponsored by Lost Dutchman Realty. Join local businesses as we close down the road, they line up their vehicles and pass out handfuls of candy to all the dressed up Ghouls and Goblins.

Non-profits and those supporting non-profits will host game and activity booths, these are ticketed activities. In addition there will be inflatable activities, crafts and new this year-the Treat Trail sponsored by the Youth Advisory Council!

The Annual Costume Contest will begin at 6pm and is divided by ages.

Enter your dog in our Howl-o-ween Canine Costume Contest! All canines must be on a leash and have a completed entry form. This contest will begin after the human costume contests are done.

Bring your pre-carved pumpkin out to the park and enter our Pumpkin Carving Contest! Entries will be judged by kids and adults! All pumpkins must be submitted to the judging table by 6:00pm to be eligible to win. Winners will be announced after the conclusion of the Costume Contest prior to the start of the Canine Costume Contest.
