Chase’s Birthday

The Groton PD’s service dog, Chase, is turning 4 years old! Help us celebrate our favorite yellow lab’s birthday at the Library with an hour of coloring, treats, and puppy time. Children of all ages are welcome.

Petting Zoo
Friday, July 21, 10 AM-12 PM

Drop by the Library for a petting zoo presented by Xen's Critters, featuring baby farm animals like chicks, ducklings, goats, and sheep! Generously funded by the Circle of Friends of the Groton Public Library.

Children’s Cooking Class
Friday, July 28, 11 AM

Children ages 6 and up are invited to cook along with Community Nutrition Educator, Erica Benvenuti. Learn skills as we chop, dice, and cook a yummy treat. Space is limited; registration required and opens on July 21.

Water Tower STEM Challenge
Friday, August 4, 10 AM

Design a tower out of recycled materials to hold a cup of water. All supplies will be provided. Open to school-aged children 5 and up.

Summer Reading Finale
Friday, August 11, 10 AM-12 PM

Celebrate the end of Summer Reading with a PARTY! We will have ice cream, crafts, balloons, and loads of fun for all ages!
