Spice Club

Pick Up: Wednesday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Meet & Eat: Wednesday, March 22, at 6 p.m.

At the beginning of each month, pick up a take-home kit at the Groton Public Library that includes the featured spice, information on its history and uses, and a recipe or two. Experiment in the kitchen and bring a creation that incorporates the spice to our Meet & Eat. This program is open to cooking enthusiasts of all ages. Supplies are limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

Body, Mind, Spirit: Touching Base with our Basic Needs

Saturday, March 4, at 2 to 4 p.m.

This experiential time of sharing will explore tools to help participants get in touch with their deepest needs and find positive avenues to fulfill these needs. Morning Matinee

Tuesday, March 7, at 9:30 a.m.

Join us at the Groton Public Library on the second Tuesday of every month for a free movie, freshly-popped popcorn, and ice-cold lemonade. These early-bird showings may feature cinema classics, new releases, or documentaries. Call the Library at (860) 441-6750 for this month’s film title.

Fiber Arts Group

Tuesday, March 7, at 6 p.m.

Do you knit, crochet, embroider, spin, sew, weave, braid rugs, or do any kind of fiber craft? Bring a project to work on and join us for a relaxing and creative evening at the Groton Public Library. All levels are welcome!

Learn to Play: Wingspan

Tuesday, March 21, at 5:30 p.m.

Join us at the Groton Public Library as we learn to play Wingspan. In this competitive, card-driven game, players are bird enthusiasts seeking to discover and attract the best birds to their network of wildlife preserves. After learning how to play our title game, attendees can play any of the games in our collection or bring their own for a fun evening with friends! This program is designed for adults 18+.

Not Your Mother’s Book Group

Wednesday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m.

Meet up with fellow Millennials and Gen Z-ers (ages 21-40) at the Groton Public Library to socialize, play games, and talk about books. For March, we are melding Women’s History Month and the spring season together to read the on the theme "Debut Female Authors."
