The Groton Public Library and the Circle of Friends are challenging you to walk 150,000 steps during the month of July! Pick up a step log at the Library and start recording your daily total. Turn in your completed log at the end of the month for a chance to win a prize.
To help keep you motivated, join us for a walk on Thursday mornings as our Circle of Friends members and librarians chat about their favorite reads. Each walk you participate in earns you a coupon for a free book from our Book Sale Room. In the event of inclement weather, the walks around the Library grounds will be cancelled.
Circle of Friends Monthly Meetup

Groton Outdoor Market
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: July 16
We are seeking artists, crafters and vendors for our second annual Groton Outdoor Market. The Market will take place Saturday, August 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested artists and vendors are encouraged to fill out a registration form and submit payment; space rental is $15.00. Registration forms are available at the Groton Public Library and Thrive55+, and payment is made at Thrive55+. JUNIOR FRIENDS
Monday Matinee
Mondays, July 11 – August 8, at 1 p.m.
Take a break from the heat and watch a family-friendly film with us this summer. Bring a snack or purchase popcorn from the Junior Friends, all proceeds benefit the Groton Public Library. Family Film & Fundraiser

The Junior Friends will present a Saturday showing of a family-friendly film. Refreshments will be for sale with proceeds to benefit the Groton Public Library. Library Helper Day
Friday, July 29, at 10:30 a.m.
During this busy hour, the Junior Friends will assist Groton Public Library staff in a variety of projects, including preparing craft and program materials, dusting and light cleaning, straightening shelves, and special event preparation.
