Summer Reading Support
Thursday, August 3, at 2 p.m.

Groton Public Library teen volunteers can stop by to help support our summer reading program. Help with craft prep, decorating, putting together prizes, etc. Contact Jessa Franco at (860) 441-6750 for more information.

Aquatic Arts & Crafts
Thursday, August 3 & 10, at 3 p.m.

Teens, join us this summer for crafting based on water, waves, and whimsy! For teens entering grades 6-12.

Techy Teens & Savvy Seniors
Monday, August 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Groton Public Library teen volunteers will be at the Thrive55+ Active Living Center to offer tech help for computers, phones, or tablets. Seniors and retirees are encouraged to register with Thrive55+. Teens interested in volunteering can contact Jessa Franco at (860) 441-6750 for more information.

Magic the Gathering Club
Tuesday, August 8 & 22, at 5:30 p.m.

Enjoy this classic, fantasy card game with new friends! Beginners and experienced players are welcome. We will be playing with Commander decks—available to borrow or bring your own. For teens entering grades 6-12.

A social group for teens and tweens at the Groton Public Library that celebrates and supports the LGBTQ+ community.

Reader's Café with Ms. Johnson
Monday, August 28, at 6 p.m.

Join us at the Groton Public Library for a special summer edition of Reader's Café. We will be discussing “Three Things I Know Are True” by Betty Culley to complete the Read with Friends portion of Fitch High School's Summer Reading Assignment. Desserts and other refreshments will be served. This event is open to all teens entering grades 6-12, not just Fitch Students.
