GPNC Hosts Kansas Day: A Birthday Celebration

Celebrating 163 years of our favorite state!

The Great Plains Nature Center welcomes the community to “Kansas Day: A Birthday Celebration” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 27th at 6232 E. 29th St. North in Wichita.

We’re celebrating 163 years of our favorite state! Enjoy free games, crafts, trivia, and a Naturalist program at 11 a.m. We’ll show you a preview of our 2024 events and launch our brand new program guide. This event is open to all ages.
