Description: Makes changes to the Sexual Assault Survivors Emergency Treatment Act to replace “pediatric” patients with patients “under the age of 18.” Requires the Department of Public Health to establish a timeframe within which a hospital must submit a plan to provide certain services to sexual assault survivors like medical forensic services. Allows DPH to fine offending hospitals $500 per patient if not in compliance.

Description: Amends the process for filling the State Librarian’s vacancy such that the vacancy will be filled within 60 days of the amendatory act, otherwise the vacancy shall be filled at the next regularly scheduled election.
