Governor Glenn Youngkin Joined Congressmen Ben Cline And Morgan Griffith For Early Voting Rally

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Wednesday morning, Governor Glenn Youngkin joined Congressmen Ben Cline and Morgan Griffith at the Brambleton Center to encourage voters across Virginia to cast their ballots.

During the rally, they encouraged people to vote in person for early voting and to get out on election day.

“The main message today is get out and vote — and there’s no greater country in the world and there’s no greater civic responsibility than to get out and vote. And so, we’re encouraging everybody to early vote. Go get 10 friends, and get out and vote. It’s an exciting time” said Youngkin.

The Brambleton Center is one of the locations where voters can go to cast their ballots for early voting. According to Ken Srpan, Chairman of the Roanoke County Electoral Board early voting started at this location on Monday, and they saw some 333 people come to vote.

“It has slowed down a little bit, it’s been a steady stream no long lines, so you see and with only one race on the ballot it goes through quickly, so it’s been very good,” said Srpan.

The last day for absentee early in-person voting at the Brambleton Center is Saturday, November 5.
