DIRECTOR'S NOTE

Thank you to everyone who joined us in October for fun events like the 40th Annual Great Pumpkin Spectacle, Books & Brews, and the Stargazing Party. Thank you also to Town Meeting for supporting Warrant Article 8 for CPA funding towards the library's interior renovation project.

This fall you may be seeing appeals from two different organizations supporting the Gleason: the Friends of Gleason Public Library's Annual Appeal, and the Gleason Endowment's Capital Campaign. The Friends support library programs and services including Summer Reading, the Great Pumpkin Spectacle, and museum passes. The Endowment's Capital Campaign is a one-time campaign for our renovation project; with donations and grants received so far, including CPA funding, this campaign is more than 2/3 of the way to the $2.3 million dollar goal. You can read more about both organizations and how to donate on our website here; we appreciate your support!
