Friends of Retzer Nature Center's Science Fest - Powered By Generac - Returns With Free Admission

Waukesha, WI - Waukesha County invites inquisitive minds of all ages to celebrate the annual Friends of Retzer Nature Center’s Science Fest: Inside & Out – powered by Generac – this Saturday, November 5. Attendees will enjoy discovering how our daily lives connect with science, technology, engineering, and math from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Retzer Environmental Learning Center located at S14W28167 Madison Street, Waukesha.

“Science impacts so many parts of our lives every day,” said Retzer Nature Center Supervisor Janet Barthel. “We are excited to share how science mixes into what is happening across Waukesha County and in our natural world.”

Waukesha County staff, Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium staff, and local business and clubs will guide guests to explore ‘Inside and Out’ with programs, hikes, shows, hands-on activities, and vehicle displays. Topics will cover natural resources, outdoor play, water conservation, recycling, wildlife, citizen science, sustainability, and more. Tickets are available for planetarium shows for $5 a seat and run throughout the event. Mad Science of Milwaukee will offer two shows that will be first come, first served.

Science Fest free admission is brought to you by the Friends of Retzer Nature Center and Generac. The full event schedule is available online at www.WaukeshaCounty.gov/ScienceFest.
