Welcome back to FAWC Friday at the Fine Arts Work Center!

We're delighted to invite you to our free, interactive community event series. FAWC Fridays provide a unique chance for our community to come together in the fall and winter seasons and connect in a warm, lively atmosphere. Join us on the first Friday of every month from now until February for a fantastic lineup of visiting writers and visual artists of national recognition who will share their work. We can't wait to see you there!

Join us at 24 Pearl Street on Friday, November 3, from 5-9 PM for an engaging evening of art, literature, music, and food. The event will begin with traditional Mexican cuisine by Rosie's Cantina and music by DJ Emerson James and multi-instrumentalist DeAngelo Nieves. Afterward, attend an artist talk and reading with visual artist Bailey Bob Bailey and poet A.H. Jerriod Avant, reading from his debut collection Muscadine, in the Stanley Kunitz Common Room, followed by an audience conversation.

In addition, you can make a print with printmaker Vicky Tomayko in the Michael Mazur Printmaking Studio and explore select open studios of our resident Fellows. Also, don't forget to visit our pop-up bookshop with East End Books.

This program is free; however, reservations are encouraged. We look forward to having you join us for the first FAWC Friday of the season!
