Monthly open calls for local artists and creatives to submit work for Fisher Gallery exhibits

Fiber Forward

Exhibit Dates: October 1 - 29, 2022
Location: Fisher Gallery
Opening reception: October 1 (2-4 pm)

Entries may include 2-D and 3-D work in various textiles using a variety of  techniques; weaving, sewing, felting, knitting/crocheting, embroidery, macrame, wrapping, soft sculpture, and more.

Drop-off: Work must be delivered to Fisher Gallery by September 28.

We are delighted to present our annual FVAC Student Show in Drezner Visitors' Gallery for the month of October. The exhibit features artwork created in classes over the past year in a variety of subject matter and media, including painting, drawing, photography, clay, and mixed media.

NOVEMBER

The Farmington Valley Arts Center is mounting an open call juried exhibit in November entitled Time | Change, which will feature 2D and 3D artwork in response to this core question and more: Is there a relationship between time and change? Explore the relationship; time may be the focus, change may be the focus, or ... ??
