Meet the Artist:
J. Elaine Senack

The soft ruffled feathers of a mourning dove preening, or the large peering eyes of a barred owl are the quiet moments in nature captured by J. Elaine Senack in her acrylic paintings. In a world that is fast-paced and often far removed from natural things, she aims to provide a peaceful reminder of the beautiful creatures with whom we share this earth.

Ms. Senack is a Member of the International Guild of Realism, an Elected Member of the American Artists Professional League, a member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, The Lyme Art Association, and the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts. J. Elaine Senack has received awards in international and regional competitions and shows.

Meet the Artist:

Jordan Alexandre

"I am curious about the viewer's perspective of how the minimalistic lines and dashes take shape in the viewer's eye. It is the imagination of the viewer that excites me. Within my art I like to remind the viewer that life is ever-changing and, most importantly, perspective changes through time. I would like my art to be a bridge between people where each can pose a simple question, in an almost childlike fashion; What do you see?"

Jordan is a versatile artist who explores multiple mediums and possesses a strong conceptual approach to his work. Currently, he is pursuing his education at the University of Hartford, focusing on Design and Visual Communications.

Enjoy an evening of artmaking guided by professional artists in a fun and engaging way, surrounded by the creative environment of Fisher Gift Gallery!!
