We would like to honor & acknowledge our veterans this Friday, November 11th. The Mill Ballet has performed for the Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run in Doylestown for 10 years. We are thankful for all the amazing work they do to honor our fallen heroes and provide support to veterans. We instill the words of Travis Manion, "If not me, then who" to encourage our students to be amazing citizens of our community.

Meet Roxey Ballet Artist: Kaito Kurokawa

Kaito was born in Shonan, Japan. He trained at Pas de Trois Shonan Ballet School in Japan, Kharkov Choreographic School in Ukraine, Tallinn Ballet School in Estonia and Brussels International Ballet School in Belgium.

He was a finalist at the Tallinn International Ballet Competition and he also attended the International Ballet Summer of Dresden (scholarship by Royal Swedish Ballet School). Kaito started his professional carreer at the

Columbia Classical Ballet in 2019 and danced there for two seasons. Kaito is excited to dance his first season as part of the Roxey Ballet Company!

"Dance gives me freedom, it frees my heart and it is my passion. It is what I was meant to do in this life. But it wasn’t always that way. When I was younger I didn’t like ballet because I saw all the other kids around me living a normal life. At the time I wanted that too, so I quit. However, I started ballet again right before I graduated high school because I saw my peers applying for university and jobs and I didn’t think I could live my life like that. I wanted to live my life happier and with passion for everything that I do."

You can watch Kaito perform in Roxey Ballet's Nutcracker as the Sugar Plum Cavalier opening Thanksgiving weekend!
