Elko County Fair 2022

Arts and Entertainment

August 8, 2022

From: Elko County Fair

The Elko County Fair is an annual event put on by a group of dedicated volunteers, hard-working competitors and generous businesses and individuals who help sponsor the event. The entire event is managed by a citizen board of directors, who are appointed by the Elko County Commissioners. The Board is key to the success of the Fair as they are responsible for the event itself, and for year-round operations of the historic 40-acre Fairgrounds where the Fair is held. The Board is also supported by two year-round staff members, as well as a team of temporary staff brought on for the month of the Fair. The Fair is extremely popular among the Nevada community, drawing approximately 20,000 people annually while other events held at the Fairgrounds draw another 20,000 people over the course of the year.
