New Year Holiday Closing

The Main Library and the Wilson Branch will close for the New Year Holiday on Saturday, December 31, 2022 Sunday, January 1, and Monday, January 2, 2023. Our normal hours will resume on Tuesday, January 3. We hope to see you all again next year!

Lean on Me

Talk to an expert who can provide information and support for basic needs at the new Lean on Me! Program on the first Tuesday of every month. Meet one of Windsor Social Service's friendly and knowledgeable caseworkers to learn about programs you may qualify for. If you have questions about utility assistance, food, energy, Medicare, or more – our caring staff can assist. All contacts are free and confidential. Make your appointment by calling 860-285-1839.

Apple Device Help

11:45am - 12:45pm

Become a master at using Apple products in just an hour! Bring your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Macbook to the Wilson Branch Library to have all of your questions answered.

Bring Your Gadgets to the Geek

2:30pm - 4:30pm

Bring Your Gadgets to the Geek is at the Main Library, in Meeting Room 2 on the lower level. Drop in with your device and your questions, as always the advice is free.

New Year New Career

Kidspace wants you to join them for a new year of monthly STEM Club for school age children 6-11 years old. Calling all school scientists, engineers, mathematicians and inventors to this fun hands on program.

Talk & Tea for English Learners

Talk and Tea for English Learners is open to anyone who is practicing their English. This informal conversation club meets weekly to practice casual conversations in English. Book Brunch

Saturday, January 7,

12:00pm - 1:30pm

“Book Brunch” meets at noon on the first Saturday of each month at the Wilson Branch Library. Centering books written by BIPOC authors with an emphasis on affirming stories, you won’t find trauma, pain, poverty, or stereotypes in the books we lift up and discuss. Facilitated by Alexis – Proud Nerd, History Buff, Windsor Native, lover of adventure and all things tasty. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments provided. Books for each month will be available for checkout at the Wilson Branch Library. This month's book: Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson
