The Pamela Bellmore Gardner Memorial Lecture Hall is an approximately 2,000-square-foot addition to the recently renovated high school in West Haven. The lecture hall is one story with a lobby connecting to the recently renovated high school. All utilities will be fed from the high school. There will be a new, dedicated outdoor air unit at the south side of the lecture hall. The building exterior is brick over stud and sheathing backup, along with several curtain wall openings. The roof is EPDM and does not tie into the existing building’s roof. The interior features a dual-access foyer with brick walls, audio/visual components and a specialty VCT floor. The lecture hall itself has a state-of-the-art audio/visual package, along with fixed seating on a tiered concrete slab-on-grade with a wood floor finish. The space is also fit with acoustical wall panels and a tiered, suspended ceiling.
