The City of Valdez will host it's annual celebration on Thursday July 4, 2024 at the Kelsey Dock Plaza. Parade & Vendor Registration will become available on April 1, 2024. Please note that electricity for vendors is limited and not guaranteed. Additional event information including band line-up, event schedule and parade route will be available June 1. Crowd favorites are Back! Uncle Salmon Freedom 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run & Paddle Board Jousting (previously known as Canoe Jousting) will be available for registration on Tuesday, May 7 at 10:00 am. Register online by visiting www.ValdezAK.gov/Register.
