AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT CONTINUES TO HELP TUCSONANS - The City of Tucson is leveraging $136.20 million in funds awarded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) OF 2021. Under the guidance of Mayor and Council, the City has developed a strategic plan to distribute, track, and monitor these ARPA funds over four years to help all Tucsonans, focusing on community members hardest hit by COVID-19, poverty, and crime. An updated website tracks the latest progress on ARPA funding and has a new video from Tucson Mayor Regina Romero on the long-term investment into the community.

TAKE THE TRANSIT FARES SURVEY- Sun Tran is hosting an online survey to give all community members the chance to weigh in on the future of transit fares. Feedback from both transit riders and non-riders is essential to help policymakers and City leadership make informed decisions about the future of fares. The online survey opportunity follows a series of public input meetings held in July and August to help community members learn about transit policies and how to access the fares survey. The online survey is available in English and Spanish. The public also has the option to leave a comment by calling Sun Tran Customer Service at (520) 792-9222 or by emailing[email protected].
