Government and Politics

October 18, 2022

From: City Of Tucson

On Sunday, October 30, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Cyclovia Tucson will re-purpose public streets in the Thrive in the 05 area for people of all ages and abilities to walk, bike, roll, or skate down the car-free route. Cyclovia brings people together to enjoy neighborhoods, participate in free activities, support local businesses, and connect with one another.

Cyclovia Tucson is looking for volunteers to help make the event a success. Volunteer opportunities are available before, during and after the big event, and can range from two hours or more. Opportunities include organizing and inventorying materials, updating the online store, preparing fundraising mailings, and making sure everything is ready for the big day. During the event, volunteers are needed at the intersections, for managing other volunteers and helping wrap up the event.

To volunteer as an individual or as a group, sign up at cycloviatucson.org/volunteer.

The City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility is a proud supporter of Cyclovia Tucson, a program of the Living Streets Alliance. For more information on Cyclovia, including an interactive route map, please visit: cycloviatucson.org.
