From: City Of Tucson

In the past 24 hours a new redistricting proposal was issued by the city clerk's office. It is still not viewable on redistricting commission website. In fairness all neighborhoods and business districts affected should be given notice that they're being considered for moving. My concern is for ward 6 constituents. The following areas are now being considered for moving from ward 6 into ward 1:

WUNA

Ironhorse

Downtown

Armory Park

Barrio Viejo

DTP

Fourth Ave Businesses

Here is the map the redistricting commission will now consider during their public hearing on Thursday - not shown on the website. The highlighted areas are what are now being considered for moving into ward 1:

There will be a public hearing at city council chambers on Thursday, November 3rd at 5:30pm to allow the public to share their thoughts on the proposed changes. If you'd like to view the redistricting website ahead of that meeting you may do so at this link:
