Regular Collection on Columbus Day
While City offices will be closed, regular collection is scheduled on Monday, October 10. Please remember to have your garbage, recycling, or brush and bulk out by 7 a.m. for collection. Visit templetx.gov/solidwaste for information on collection delays and schedules.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
Drop off your hazardous waste on Saturday, October 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3201 E. Ave. H. This will be a contactless drive-thru event. For a full list of what can be dropped off and more information, visit templetx.gov/hhw.

Haunted Hayride
Celebrate spooky season at the 9th Annual Haunted Hayride on Saturday, October 22. Hayrides will be offered from 6 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Climb aboard the hayride as you are taken on a tour with spooky scenes and creepy characters at Rueben D. Talasek Bend of the River. Fright Fest "Creep Thru"
