Merry & Bright Holiday Lights Tour & Contest

The City of Temple is hosting its inaugural Merry & Bright Holiday Lights Tour & Contest, with voting beginning today! Residents can visit templetx.gov/holidaylights to find an interactive digital map with the submitted decorated homes they can visit and vote for. Click here for more information.

The 76th Annual Christmas Parade

Join us in downtown Temple on December 5 to celebrate the kick-off of the holiday season with "A Groovy Christmas Parade". Mayor Tim Davis will light the tree and municipal decorations at 6:15 p.m., with the parade at 6:30 p.m. Visit templeparks.com/parade for more information on times, locations and what to bring!

Outer Loop West Phase I Virtual Public Hearing

The City of Temple is hosting a virtual public hearing on the Outer Loop West Phase I project. A pre-recorded video presentation is now available online through December 23. Residents are also able to give feedback during this timeframe. For more information and to view the presentation, click here.

Holiday Collection
Schedule

Garbage, recycling, and bulk/brush collections will run a regular schedule on December 23 and December 26. Please have your items to the curb by 7 a.m. Visit templetx.gov/solidwaste for more information on delays and schedules.

City offices will be closed from December 23 to 26 and reopen on December 27 at 8 a.m.
