Spend your Saturday with the Shawnee Police Department

Spend your Saturday with the Shawnee Police Department! We are hosting both the Heartland Police Canine Competition and the National Faith and Blue Event on Saturday and we'd love to see you there!

The Heartland Police Canine Competition begins at 10 a.m. at the Shawnee Mission Schools Softball Complex at 6101 Maurer Road. Watch our Shawnee K9s and their officers go through a tactical course while you purchase some raffle tickets and grab a free lunch!

The National Faith and Blue Event goes from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the southwest corner of 74th and Nieman. Get to know our officers, play games, enjoy a free meal, and snap a pic at one of the photo stations! There will also be a Giving the Basics personal care product table for anyone in need.
