San Luis, AZ - In honor of Veteran’s Day, the City of San Luis will be recognizing and honoring local veterans who have bravely served or are currently serving in the United States Military.

On Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2022, the City of San Luis will honor and thank the city’s veterans by transmitting a video on City of San Luis official social media pages (@SanLuisAZGov). We cordially invite the community to join us in celebrating our men and women of the U.S. Military.

To participate, we ask our local veterans or their families residing in San Luis, Arizona to email [email protected]  or direct message the official City of San Luis Facebook page (@SanLuisAZGov) with the following:

- A single portrait of the veteran or active duty personnel
- Complete name
- Years of service
- Military Branch and Rank

Submissions can start being emailed today, October 26, 2022, through Friday, November 4, 2022, no later than 5:00 p.m.

“Our community has proven to stand together in difficult times and on this Veteran’s Day, we stand together to recognize and honor all of our local veterans,” stated Mayor Gerardo Sanchez. “It is important to express our gratitude to the men and women currently serving or who have served and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, rights, and freedoms,” he concluded.
