The Ozark Water Department will be performing fire hydrant flushing to remove any sediment or stagnant water from the distribution system and to test fire hydrant operation. These steps are taken to improve the overall water quality within the distribution system and to insure the delivery of the highest quality of water possible. The following schedule will give the approximate day they will be in your area.

Monday May 9, 2022

Pleasant Homes Addition, Fairway Estates, Coley Addition, Woodland West, Ozark High School, Puddin Ridge Road, McElroy Addition, S. 37th St., Manitou Mtn. Road

Tuesday May 10, 2022

River Heights Addition, Faith Addition, Commerce Drive, Jeffers Drive, Gordon Drive, Kris Drive, Marts Drive; Johnson St., S. 26th St.

Wednesday May 11 & Thursday May 12, 2022

Area of 18th St and Helberg east to Alston St and South to Commercial St, Includes 9th thru 17th St, Vernon, Walden, Kelly, Gibson, School, Owens, McElroy, W. Main and W. River Streets.

Friday May 13 & Monday May 16, 2022

Area of Alston St. and College St north, Includes N. 1 st thru N. 6th St, Carver, Market, N. Bell, Prothroe Drive, Nickell, Cloos Circle, Walker, Spring, Warner, Williams, Oak, Walnut Streets.

Tuesday May 17 & Wednesday May 18, 2022

Area S 7th St and Commercial St. to S. Bell, Includes S. 1st thru S. 6th St, Main St, River St, Webb City Area, Bridgeport Estates, S. 12th St, Bluff Drive

As a result of the flushing procedure, residents may experience low pressure and discoloration in their water. This discoloration does not affect the safety of the water.
Discolored water may be removed from your pipes by running the cold water tap for a few minutes. If you have any questions, please contact the Ozark Water Department at
