The Florida League of Mayors (FLM) recently announced that Oldsmar Mayor Dan Saracki was elected to serve a two-year term on the Florida League of Mayors Board of Directors.

“I am honored to serve on the FLM Board of Directors, which will provide me the opportunity to advocate before the Florida Legislature regarding issues affecting the residents and businesses of Oldsmar,“ stated Saracki. “Additionally, serving on the board provides me with a better means to connect with mayors across our great State of Florida and share insight and solutions on the many subjects elected officials face within their communities.”

Since 2005, the Florida League of Mayors has served as the official nonpartisan organization representing Florida’s Mayors. As a membership-driven association, the primary duty of the FLM is to ensure active advocacy and provide a powerful platform for Florida’s Mayors to speak out on issues of important interest to their cities and citizens.

Saracki is serving his first term as Mayor of Oldsmar, having previously served seven years on City Council. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA), the Pinellas County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Advisory Council and is member of the Mayors’ Council of Pinellas County (MCPC).  Additionally, Saracki is a member of Florida League of Cities (FLC) Utilities, Natural Resources & Public Works Policy Committee.
