OLDSMAR, FL – (December 15, 2022) – The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) Board of Directors has appointed Oldsmar Mayor Dan Saracki to serve as its Vice-Chairperson on the PSTA Board of Director’s Executive Committee.

PSTA is the public transit provider for Pinellas County, providing more than 10.3 million riders per year. PSTA operates 41 bus and trolley routes with a fleet consisting of 300+ vehicles.  

The purpose of the Executive Committee generally is to deliberate and provide direction to staff and the Board of Directors regarding emergencies, significant operational issues and major service changes.

"I am honored to continue representing Oldsmar as PSTA's Vice-Chairperson," stated Mayor Saracki. "Transportation serves as the centrical focus of the entire Tampa Bay community and is a vital element of everyday life for our residential and business communities."

Mayor Saracki has served on the PSTA Board representing Oldsmar, Safety Harbor, and Tarpon Springs since his initial appointment in 2019. He actively serves on its Finance & Performance Management, Legislative, Executive and Personnel Committees.
