On 10/14/2022 Calvin Bunnell, 75 years old, was arrested by warrant after a lengthy investigation conducted by the Middletown Police Special Investigations Unit, in conjunction with other agencies. Bunnell allegedly engaged in actions over a period of months, which were sexually inappropriate in nature. Bunnell was charged with violation of Connecticut General Statutes (C.G.S) 53a-71(a)2 Sexual Assault 2nd Degree (4 counts), and C.G.S. 53a-72a(2)(3) Sexual Assault 3rd Degree (5 Counts).  He was released on a $50,000 surety bond, and is next due in court on 11/14/2022.
