Middletown Police had been seeking NAHKYN DURAZZO (22 years old) of Middletown due to his involvement in a shooting that took place on 5/15/22 inside of the Traverse Square housing complex.On Wednesday, 8/31/22 Durazzo was located and arrested. Durazzo was charged with the following:

2 counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit Assault in the 1st Degree (53a-49/53a-59)
Criminal Use of a Firearm (53a-216)
Criminal Possession of a Firearm (53a-217)
Illegal Discharge of a Firearm (53-203)
Commission of a Felony with a Firearm (53-202k)
Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree (53a-63)

Durazzo was held in lieu of a $1,500,000 court set bond and is scheduled for arraignment at Middlesex
Superior Court on 9/1/22.
