The next Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is being held this Saturday, July 16, at Woodside Intermediate School, in Cromwell from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A full list of HHW events can be found at https://www.rivercog.org/household-hazardous-waste/. These events are free to Middletown residents. The HHW event in Middletown will be held on September 17 at Middlesex Community College.

Please note the Middletown Farmers Market has begun and we are hosting a recycling and composting table at the Market each week. We have available the 3 and 7 gallon food scrap collection containers for Middletown residents who pledge to divert their food scraps from the regular trash. We also have a food scrap drop off at the Market each Friday. The Farmers Market is every Friday through Oct. 28 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Union Park.
