The Public Works Water Division is currently working to repair an emergency water main break on Childs Ave between M St and Canal St. The affected residences are located in the 500 block of Childs Ave.

During these repairs the westbound lane on Childs Ave will be closed. Please use an alternate route, proceed through this area with caution, share the road with non-vehicular traffic, and expect delays.

Water crews will be working to restore water as quickly as possible.
