October is Planning Month:  Planning is a nationally recognized profession that is practiced all over the globe. Nationally, the American Planning Association (APA) provides leadership, education and professional development opportunities in the planning field and serves as the accreditation association for certification of planners who obtain American Institute of Certified Planners (AIPC). Regionally and statewide, Western Planner and the Wyoming Planning Association respectively provide similar professional development opportunities but on a more local and regional scale.
