From: City of Healdsburg

Last year in June of 2021, the City of Healdsburg issued a proclamation and engaged the community in our first Pride flag-raising ceremony, to honor the LGBTQIA+ community and to celebrate Pride Month. This year we will continue this tradition by raising the Pride flag and having a ceremony with Mayor Jimenez giving remarks. Mayor Jimenez will be joined by the City Council. Please join us in celebrating the influence and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community at 5:30 pm on June 6, 2022, in front of City Hall.

Our weekly summer concerts in the Healdsburg Plaza have resumed and will run every Tuesday through August 30, 2022, from 6 pm. to 8 pm. Concerts in the Healdsburg Plaza Park provide a unique line-up of bands and have been assembled to please a wide array of musical interests. Food vendors will be on-hand to offer locally sourced food for sale starting at 5 pm, with the music beginning at 6 pm.

Bike valet services are available from 5 pm to 8 pm every Tuesday during our summer concert series. This is a complimentary service to all concert patrons. The bike is carefully parked in a secure location, so you can sit back and enjoy the music.

While enjoying Tuesdays in the Plaza, we ask that you follow our concert rules: https://www.ci.healdsburg.ca.us/.../Tuesdays-in-the-Plaza...

This week, City staff submitted to the California Energy Commission Healdsburg’s generation sources for the calendar year 2021.  In 2021 renewable energy generation increased due largely to the City’s floating solar project and improved output from the geothermal plants. This pushed Healdsburg’s Standard Energy Rate from roughly 32% renewable to over 45% renewable energy. Higher levels of renewable energy help lower Healdsburg’s GHG emissions and stem climate change. With future projects under contract, renewable and carbon-free energy sources will continue to increase over the next several years.
