Townhall Meeting - October 25

Townhall meetings on the development of the conceptual plan for the Stevenson Park parking lot have been scheduled for October 25 and November 29 at the Friendswood Library, 416 S. Friendswood Dr. from 6pm-7pm. Online survey is available until Friday, October 14 at 10am. Go to friendswood.com/survey to submit your input.

October Meeting Objectives

- Provide site information and gather input.
- Prepare and present regional context, site inventory, site analysis and suggested park programming via exhibits and PowerPoint.

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is by sponsoring City events this year!  Santa in the Park and Flapjack Fun Run are both scheduled on December 3rd in Stevenson Park.

Flapjack Fun Run

We kick off the fun filled day with the Flapjack 5k Fun Run/Walk and Kid's K through Stevenson. The Flapjack Fun Run is named for the delicious pancake breakfast served by Whataburger after the 5K (chip timed) race. We expect 200 - 400 runners and walkers to participate in the event. Santa in the Park

Following the Flapjack Fun Run is our biggest holiday event of the year. The fun filled day is filled with pictures with Santa, 40,000lbs of snow, face painting, amusement rides live music, local entertainment, food vendors, a holiday arts and craft market, the Chamber of Commerce parade and culminates with the lighting of a 20 foot tall decorated Christmas tree and a state of the art fireworks extravaganza provided by our title sponsor, HomeTown Bank. To participate in the biggest holiday event in the area. Click here to see the sponsor levels.
