Through a streamlined and intentional inspection and development process, Community Development provides a positive environment in which to do business, carefully guiding the long-term growth of the city. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness and exceptional customer service to the Coppell community. More than 99% of our code cases are resolved voluntarily through education, without citations. Community Development also encourages neighbors to connect through neighborhood engagement programs like Coppell Connected: Neighbors Helping Neighbors and we make public health a priority through food inspections and education. Our staff spends more than four hours in each food facility within Coppell, and we investigate and resolve more than 90% of all solid waste complaints within 24 hours!
