 Register for an Affordable Education and Job Training this Fall at Compton College

Get In-Person Registration Assistance Beginning August 8 with Extended Hours

Registration is open for all students at Compton College for the fall 2022 semester, which begins on August 20, 2022, with in-person, online, and hybrid classes available. The college is currently offering extended hours for in-person and online assistance with the enrollment and class registration process. Compton College offers 42 degree programs and 41 job training certificate programs.

Enrolled students have access to a complete menu of support services to help them succeed. All students enrolled during the 2022-2023 school year will receive a FREE student parking permit and one FREE meal per day at the Everytable Café on campus. In addition, Compton College provides financial, academic, and technical support for those in need such as financial aid, tutoring, book vouchers, free laptop and Wi-fi hotspot loans, and referrals for those with housing insecurity.

Get In-Person Registration Assistance Beginning August 8!

Compton College’s Student Support Services offices will have extended hours August 8 through September 8, 2022, including two Saturdays in August, to walk students through the registration and/or admissions process as well as answer questions. Counselors and financial aid representatives will also be available for in-person and online assistance. The Registration Assistance Extended Hours August 8 through September 2 are:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 13 and August 20: 8:00 a.m. to noon

For students who need to apply for admission, please complete the Compton College online application in a few easy Steps to Enrollment. Counseling appointments to complete Step 4 – Educational Planning will be available in-person or virtually by appointment Monday through Friday or via virtual drop-in counseling here: http://www.compton.edu/studentservices/supportservices/counseling/. 

The Fall 2022 schedule of classes, in both digital and searchable formats, is available on the Web at http://compton.edu/studentservices/admissionandrecords/ClassSchedule.aspx. Some fall class sections offer Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) and Open Educational Resources (OER), which give students access to high-quality class materials and books at no cost. Classes offering OER/ZTC are listed in the fall 2022 class schedule with a special symbol.

Students may apply and register online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week via MyCompton on the Compton College website www.compton.edu.

Vaccination Requirement for In-Person Classes

Proof of full vaccination status is required for students attending in-person classes. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status must be submitted via the MyCompton website portal by clicking on the tile labeled “COVID-19 Vaccination - Exemption - Test Submission.” Exemption/Accommodation Forms are available. Compton College is giving a one-time $350 incentive to fully vaccinated students.
